The Face Behind the Ministry

Taking the Next Steps On Your Journey, Inc. began with a call that God placed on the heart of Morris Horner several years ago. The call was to encourage and support others in their journey with Jesus. 

As pastor and director, Morris Horner reached the point of retiring as a full time pastor and church planter in 2023. God sharpened and honed the call He had placed on Morris’ heart and APastorsSteps.Life has developed. The primary focus of God’s call became pastors and church and ministry

leaders. God continues to grow us today!

We are a not for profit ministry. Our dream is to assist ministry servants as they carry out the call God has placed on their lives. We have experienced many of the challenges pastors walk through today which is why our motto is “Pastors need a pastor too!”.

Morris has served in various roles in churches in Greensboro, NC, Pensacola, FL, Houston, TX, The Woodlands, TX, and El Paso, TX. He currently resides in Ormond Beach, FL, where he pastors and directs this ministry.
